The art, itself, isn’t terrible. It’s the imposition of that titling artwork, the open book and the text, that ruins it. It’s not book cover art, of course, but it’s not godawful.
Completely agree. The art itself is quite nice really, even the typography for the author’s name was subdued and tasteful. But that hand drawn logo was a huge mistake. Maybe this is the best bad book cover Ive seen here.
