Maybe that’s how he lost them. It’s not like he has functioning hands, either.

I can tell you how this happens. There are so many people out there advertising themselves to be book cover makers. When you are new at it, (I am a first time author), someone had to be hired. I actually went through three book covers, the first one was stick people and would have been so bad, it would have been one of the worst ever. It made the second one look good, and the second one was awful too.

It is hard to know when you hire new people what your going to get.

I couldn’t even afford a bad cover artist, but I know what it’s like to put your trust in someone and be let down. There are a lot of talent-less hacks selling themselves as artists and some truly gifted artists making themselves available for fairly reasonable fees.
