This makes me genuinely sad for some reason. I got such a strong feeling the author was really passionate about telling his story but once finished he realized he had no money for cover art (as is the case for many of us). Not knowing what else to do he bought a cheap set of water colors are did his best to paint what he pictured in his mind but simply lacked the artistic ability (as do I).
Either that or he had his artist wife paint it and she suffers from the same lack of artistic skill as the one with the degree in art.
