For those of us that aren’t mad Photoshoppers, what filter?

Poster Edges. It usually makes the image look like a colored ink pen drawing. I have always found the Plastic Wrap filter to be way more annoying.

Y’know…I gotta admit it. I have issues with this cover–but that’s not one of them.

I suspect that just like designers get the eye-rolls about Papyrus, Comic Sans, Bleeding Cowboys, etc, and apparently you lads and ladies also get it about these types of filters, mere mortals don’t. I didn’t even notice that it had a “bad” filter; I liked the look.

There, I said it. I guess now Nathan will revoke my LBC credentials, (sob).

I’m with you. With a better typeface, proper aspect ratio, and removing that weird badge, this would be a perfectly acceptable cover, assuming it’s related to the content. That being said, the filter makes it stand out from the other books in the series, some of which have decent cover art.

I have to agree with you; I actually kinda like the filter so long as is doesn’t look like a filter. If they fixed the way the filter looks on the stairs leading into the doorway, I think it wouldn’t be too bad. To me, it has the same appeal as sketch art.

Uh-oh! It’s a LBC mutiny! At this rate, Nathan will have to–gasp!–remove this cover! 🙂

Seriously, the next time I go to login at CC.com, I’ll probably find myself blocked, lol!

I was just giving you a rasher of the proverbial. 🙂 I know you FAR too well to think that you’d ever admit that you were….WRONG.
