I rather like the basic image of the 17th C dude. But it’s sized all wrong, the color values are too much the same, and the font makes the book look like a Western.

I suppose it is not worth pointing out that the 36 barrels of gunpowder never exploded. However, if Michael Bay had directed the Gunpowder Plot I am sure there would have been an overabundance of explosions.
And who knew that gunpowder was such a treasonous thing? Little black powdery bastards, turnin’ on ya like that. Obviously disloyal little buggers.
