It is baffling. The interior art is actually GREAT. It looks to me that perhaps the author (?) tried to save some money, maybe didn’t think to ask for a cover illo that would suit the book and so he copy-pasted figures from inside the book to this cover design. so sad, because I swear, it doesn’t REMOTELY do the book justice! I guarantee he loses sales he should have otherwise had, if the cover were half as good as the interior.
The cover belies the interior art, which is really very nice! Spoiled a little by poor typography, unfortunately, but pretty good work!
