Damn it a good piece of art 🖼 and it’s not even for what the book is about
I dunno, man. The book sounds pretty ridiculous, at least if it’s being marketed as nonfiction. But the cover looks okay to me.
The problem with its cover isn’t it’s looks, it’s that it’s marketing to an entirely different audience than those likely to enjoy the book. If it were a retelling of the Snow Queen, it’s fabulous. For a book about ancient aliens, it leaves everything to be desired.
Oh, poor Stephen Hawking. If he could, he’d be rolling in his grave right now. (Too soon?)
But couldn’t the Tolkien elves going across the sea to the west actually be an allegory for going off-world? Ok, I might be reaching here…
Of course, these celestial Himalayan beings who look like Tolkien elves would totally be up for a roll in the hay with nerdy believers in cryptoanthropology who live in their mothers’ basements.
