It probably isn’t quite an om-nom-nom de plume, but I’m suspicious of the name “Crystal” in the context of a novel about a “mystery healer.”

My opinion is, if you’re healthy enough to slap on that much makeup, you don’t need healing. You need a makeup artist, but not a healer. (Especially for that godawful garish shade of pink lipstick…shudder…)
