Grrrrr….that phrase and the equally irksome “change history” both drive me apes**t. You cannot, by definition, change history, because, idjits, it’s a) past and b) “history” actually means the written record of what’s happened, rather than what happened, as weird as that is.
The future, also by definition, CANNOT BE NOW.
Yes, I realize this is grammarian OCD, but it drives me nuts.

“The Future is Now” reminds me of those 1950s pop-sci ballyhoos of atom powered cars and personal helicopters for getting to work and going shopping.
