Going to the IMDb Mary Tyler Moore Show Photo Gallery, the font and and the use of flats of bright color are uncannily similar.
[sarcasm] Oh come on. That font and layout positively evoke the essence of Biblical antiquity. [/sarcasm]
I will say it would be better with Payrus and more cowbell.
