Well that perfectly describes: The Wheel of Time; Mistborn; The Stormlight Archive; Shannra; The inheritance cycle (the Eragon one); the Witcher; The Bartimaeus Trilogy and a bunch of other epic fantasy stories I just pulled from the top of my head. It would be one thing if it was:

Like Game of Thrones meets X

Instead you might as well have said

Like Game of Thrones, except all the good stuff that makes it Game of Thrones

Because it has the same effect. It is like your your work is of lesser quality.
