She wants to make people who are enthusiastic and successful EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY? Such people would be utterly insufferable, and find themselves pummelled by the rest of us pretty quickly.
On the other hand, I do recommend The Antidote: Happiness for People Who Can’t Stand Positive Thinking, by Oliver Burkeman.
