Based on the description at Amazon and the little I saw of the “Look Inside,” I’d say, no, it isn’t (America’s children are saved from that threat at least). I believe it’s simply an author who’s never seen a book before and has no idea what they’re supposed to look like.
The shape is pretty wonky, Is this a children’s book cover? If so, does it legally constitute child abuse?
