The cover text is a bit blurry, but after reading it, I am compelled to not read the book as the whole thing is summarised right there on the cover. It takes away all the mystery and suspense, leaving us with no desire to read the blurb or even try a sample.
And why tell us what the printed book title is on the cover of the ebook? And why two different titles?
The author needs to completely rethink this cover.
I think it’s a good rule of thumb that you at least need to get through the title before you start sticking in the footnotes.
