Gotta admit that the new cover for that Seven Psychics one is somewhat better, but the couple on the new cover are still pretty obviously cut-and-pasted, and I’m not 100% certain they aren’t actually pseudo-humans. Also, their pose and location still suggests nothing whatsoever about that “shifter” element mentioned in the title; absent the titles, I could easily think it was the cover to a romance set in a swamp somewhere (like Louisiana or the outer banks of North Carolina and Virginia). It brings to mind this cover from Longmire’s collection of romance novel cover parodies:

It also inspires me to do this remake of it:

As to sucker punches, that new No Honor Between Brothers cover is probably the worst of the lot. Um, Deborah, honey? I don’t know quite how to break this to you, but you need to fire your cover designer.

Nah nah nah nah nah (with thanks to Sha-na-na…). The Mythomania cover is patently the worst and getting worse by the moment.

I quite literally can’t read your sendup, RK. That’s a real weiner, buddy.
