What’s really horrifying is that in most cases, the replacements are not much better. I mean, take “The Hunger” for example. Who on earth would say it’s better now than before? (I will say that Ratchet Girls is indubitably better; but that wasn’t difficult to achieve, given the original.)
Y’know, Nathan–this is WordPress, right? Have you considered a gallery approach, to this before/after type of post?
I have considered it, but my natural laziness asserts itself. (However, if there were a mouseover before/after effect… Hmm…)
I mean, I feel ya; I have galleries on my own site (which is Joomla; I honestly think that the Gallery plugins for WP are better than Joomla plugins, but…YMMV). I know that the setup is a PITA but I find it really kinda painful, to have to click to open each (before/after) in a new tab, flip back/forth…ya know? (Must be a real hassle on smartphones…) I’m not a web developer, but is there anything I could do to help to achieve this for you? I think that the before/after would beWAY cool, if it were easier to see/access. Not to mention, just think how it would be for your sister site, too (CC.com)! 🙂 Donations, maybe, or…?
