Pictured: the previously unseen ending to Nintendo’s unreleased game Earthbound 3/Mother 4.

I suspect this was produced with the posterize filter. That, or the Cinemagic technique developed for The Angry Red Planet (1959) and used by no one since.

Updt: I sit corrected. Cinemagic was used in Three Stooges in Orbit (1962).
