The cover would be improved if the title was in the uninteresting lower part of the photo rather than pasted over the eye of the hurricane (the most interesting part of the cover art).
I suppose tho that was the default title position in the template used for this cover.
The independent small press was supposed to be better than this. Amateur is supposed to mean for the love of the craft, not careless incompetence.
Amen to that. I can forgive a lot as long as there is effort and passion behind it.

Part of the trouble is, I have no idea what the book is about. A hurricane? Sputnik? I also don’t know the tone or even the genre.
