With no background, it looks like that white shape in the bottom-right corner under the byline is cutting out or hiding something. Took me a while to realize it’s just the space past the orc’s crotch.
How do you take such a cool image and create such a boring cover? Even a simple village or mountain scene for the background would have made it pop.
