Echoes is a collection of short stories and poetry that observes and reflects conversations, lives and experiences. From the award-winning ‘Building’ – an observation of dysfunctional residents in a block of flats; to Second Sin, the musings of a troubled Catholic schoolgirl; Echoes puts you inside the heads of the people you’ve walked past but never seen. Karina Evans is a writer living by the sea. She is the author of the ‘soon-to-be-a-motion-picture’ novel, Volcano, along with numerous other musings.
Shut up and take my money.
Not even the first time we’ve seen one of the hacks claim their book is being adapted into a movie, but I find that even harder to believe about a book with two reviews, one of which appears to be a favor and the other is a review of glucosamine chews for dogs.
I didn’t see any reviews, but Amazon says it’s currently unavailable.
Um, excuse me, but I see all the people I walk past (if I didn’t I’d run into them).
Mama, don’t let yo’ babies grow up to be authors,
Don’t let ’em write stories or make up such tales,
Let ’em be lawyers and cowards and such,
or even be bums that we all hate so much…
‘Cause they’ll never write books that your family can read,
And they’ll always need a good feed.
With sincere apologies to Willie.
