Upon seeing this cover, the first thing that came to mind is Bug’s Bunny’s statement “Pismo Beach and all the clams you can eat!” I don’t think that’s a genre, though.
…but maybe it should be.

The cover photo inspires me to poetic pacific thoughts “I shall never see a poem as lovely as a sea …”
Potentially evocative title though. It begs for a cover incorporating blood, stone, or the colors red and blue in any significant amount.
What’s with the subtle checkerboard pattern across all the dark areas? (i.e. the guy’s back and the rocks)
