Why are his legs so long? Why are his feet so big? What’s with the floating x-ray?? Nothing on this cover makes sense!

I get a match on that image to Traditional Greek Male Dance Costume. Which is more confusing.

He’s carrying a rifle on his shoulder, so he’s almost surely a guard of honor at the Town of the Unknown Soldier in Athens, in a uniform indeed derived from the Greek traditional costume.

…I meant Tomb of Unknown Soldier, of course. While I’m typing another comment, I’ll add that what looks like his hair is actually a long black tassel of his fez-like headgear, and the big feet effect is caused by huge pompoms on his shoes. They used to wear all that in battle.

Google “greek guard uniform” Evzones. Greek Presidential Guard. They may look ceremonial, but distinguished service tradition. Zoom in on the hi-res cover, the rifle is a US M1 Garand (we re-armed the Greeks after WWII) and the guard doesn’t look too pleased at being on this cover. I’m outta here.

That is very … odd. But I’ll give him points for using a proper curly apostrophe where many LBCs would have had a crappy straight one.

Magic box of something he smoked to think this was anything other than a trainwreck.
