Uncanny Tales of Crush and Pound 21

Uncanny Tales of Crush and Pound 21

For a moment, I was really worried that this was a graphic novel.

The only acceptable way to enjoy this cover is to squint and focus your eyes solely on the art, while listening to this:

Don’t ask, there’s always a method to my madness. It just works.

WTF?????

Is that a flying jellyfish?

Does that guy really have cat ears?

What’s the blue and white thing between jellyfish and cat ears? Is it a wave? A glacier?

What was it that he decided was worth trademarking?

What kind of warped parents name their kid “Christopher D. Carter 21”?

Admittedly a good cover probably should raise questions in the mind of the reader, but I’m not sure these are precisely the questions the author had in mind.

Is it not Wolverine crying rivers of antifreeze whilst watching an a-bomb test?

Cat eared man is the personification of the core of a volcano and he just blew his top.

So did he trademark “pound”? Or just put the TM in there for fun?
