“Five friends stumble upon a deep hole in the woods. It leads to a cave with a magic crystal. A grouchy witch has been guarding the crystal for 50 years. The friends find out that as great as magic seems, it won’t give you friendship. Should they run and never look back? Or should they help the lonely witch, even though she is stubborn and difficult?”
I had never heard of him before, so I had to look that up. I’m sure “Empress Theresa” has shown up on LBC at some point, unless it was already well-done by then!
It showed up twice on this site, namely because of the author’s reaction towards LBC and him flaunting the “new and improved” cover of his work in retaliation.
Check out Fredrik Knudsen’s exposé on Norman Boutin on YouTube, it’s quite fascinating.

And now I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole of Norman Boutin, his Amazon page, and website. What the hell, man.

…the hell kinda segue is that?!
Someone needs to create a lousy blurbs blog.
The first 4 pages of that blog would be nothing but Norman Boutin quotes/blurbs.
I actually ran one, once upon a time.
Nate, buddy, ya gotta tell me how ya stay sane with these lousy things and -ahem- occasional “crazy author” situations.
Do you have a regeneration chamber of some sort?
Lots and LOTS of Diet Dr Pepper.

I’m proud to have had a small part in the saga.
