Joking aside, I looked at the Amazon description at the link, and it appears that that’s exactly what’s going on. I’m not sure whether to congratulate the author on getting a cover that accurately conveys the action of the book or slap him upside the head for using such an absurd idea for a cover that everyone assumes it must be a mistake even though it isn’t.
