Back in MY day, we walked barefoot over gravel and broken glass, backwards, for forty days before the end of the world…and we LIKED it, too!

If the author believes we only have 40 days left, you can understand why he didn’t bother with a proper cover, as it won’t matter soon.

The author says: My Mother is told mostly in the first-person narrative and from the author’s point of view.
