At least the dog looks lifelike.

Is there such a thing as fake history?

At first, I was wondering where the “pseudohumans” tag was, but then I realized the people were just a pair of bad cut-and-paste jobs taken from an obviously over-expanded screen capture from some old movie or something.

The author was so proud of this s/he “forgot” to put his/her name on the cover…

Each pasted element is lit with different intensities from different directions. The dog in the opening of the mine has his tail in front of the support on the left, his front legs behind the board nailed to the support on the right.

Doesn’t the fact it’s a “historical journey” imply it’s “inspired by true history”? That’s like a book saying both “An Autobiography” and “Based on Real People.”

I still don’t get what true history is. I know there is alternate history in speculative fiction, but people usually put a sign on those that says “an alternate history novel”, not a sign on historical books that says “not an alternate history novel”. Now, if this was saying “inspired by true events” or “inspired by real people” that would make sense.
