Note to all cover artists: this is one problem where there is literally a one-click fix. Just check the little box in Photoshop that says “lock aspect ratio,” and your cover models won’t look like freaks of nature.
On a side note, what’s going on with the orange shadow title that’s sort of drifting off to the right? And how did any human being look at that cut-off title and say, “Yeah, that’s the effect I wanted.”

The artist Brandon thinks his portraits are perfectly normal but they are horribly warped because an experimental antacid drug interacting with a bezoar has distorted his vision.
For some covers, that’s the only explanation. (Well, there is the Vril theory about the diff in vision between true humans and reptilian substitutes.)

heck, you can even do that in mspaint! it’s locked by default!
