Is that surname real? Ironi? Irony?
Two books in one, one a non-fiction book about newspaper advertising, the other a supernatural historical novel.

The author says: My Mother is told mostly in the first-person narrative and from the author’s point of view. As usual, it seems somewhat morbid to dwell on the deaths of the year without also recognizing the births of the same year… but with extremely few exceptions (I’m a grandfather now!), we don’t know which of the millions who came into the world this year will be familiar to us by the end of...
