What is going on in the top picture? Looks like an albino lion with a spear through it.
And the main picture has a dog partially buried in snow.
Both beasts could be dead or dying, very far from ascendant.
And, bad font choices.

I think they’re going to ascend later on in the book. They look small enough to float, anyway.
