Not only does she keep her hair in great condition, but she has an antenna sticking out of the top of her head. It detects where her next hair conditioner can be found.
This is kind of like how all the post-apocalyptic gals ruling the wasteland in America 3000 had their hair all neatly conditioned and styled, and yet were otherwise living in rather primitive dwellings more than nine centuries after the nuclear war. With all the attention to grooming and taking care of their hair, they had little time for anything else.
