Wow! Floating eyeballs in a lightning-filled sky. Double Wow! What a totally cool artistic concept! Bitchin’…

Uh, what is this book about, anyway?

Why eyes???

I’m tempted to make my own Eyeball cover but it will be about an invasion of giant eyeballs filling the sky. At least then the eyeballs would have a reason for being on the cover. Maybe another short for my Unlucky Alien series. Hmm…

“AAAAAGGH!!” is exactly what I said when this… thing appeared on my screen. And that lower “eye” isn’t even an eye. Eyes don’t work remotely like that. That’s a pingpong ball with an iris painted on that’s been shoved into an eye socket. So like the man said, “AAAAAGGH again!!”

This might almost have worked without that second, bored-looking, O RLY, brown eye (as it were). Worked as what I hardly know, but at least it wouldn’t have been the disaster that it is now.

The Principles may be Uncertain, but the Pupils are certainly present.

And if that one on the bottom had two pupils, it would look just like the tail light of a 1958 Bel Air.
