Ugh. Why is the Story capitalized, but true isn’t? The Violet Exe in violet is on the border of being om-nom-nom-de-plume.

Is that a naked ghost? I think I see a butt crack. Yikes.

You would think the ghost of Ronald McDonald would haunt a McMansion…

If that’s a McMansion, the haunter is supersized.

“McMansions” are a relatively new building trend and “true” Haunted Houses always seem to hold memories of ancient tragedies of past generations. Haunted McMansion, ha! These young whippersnappers, no respect for tradition! At first I was skeptical that a newly built house could be haunted.

Then I recalled “Poltergeist” about a new housing development built on desecrated ground, and the Idaho house where Spring 2011 revealed it had been built over a wintering den when hundreds of garter snakes awoke from hiberation.

So a haunted McMansion could be a new twist. But that’s criticising the title not the cover.

In my opinion, the out of focus house is hard to see as a new house and closeup the image has blocky pixelation. The house should be clear and the insert should be foggy dreamlike. In keeping with the haunted new house idea, for title I would pick a font used by current real estate ads. Does the image need the rainy window filter? Multiple layered images that look cool on the screen in red-green-blue do not always print well as cyan-magenta-yellow-black on paper.
