I must have watched too much Seinfeld when I was young because I thought this book must be about a classical musician and that that flying thing was someone’s bad rendition of a piano.

It actually looks like a crudely drawn version of the Martian spacecraft from the 1950’s “War of the Worlds”. But I could be wrong.
