It’s a bit too cartoony for horror, but I like it. Maybe some blood on those claws would make it more scary, but that might just look silly because the thing is so cartoony. The only thing really, really ruining it is the glow around the title. It’s always the font decorations, isn’t it?
This might work better if the cover were Tales-from-the-Crypt comic bookish (bit more serious, less cartoony) and “anthology” had been spell checked.
As Maxwell Smart would say, “Missed it by that much!” Close though.
