“Sir, there are Navy Seals coming up the beach.”
“Where? I can’t see anything but giant letters.”
“Behind the letters, sir. They’re using them as camouflage.”
I think the cover has serious issues, but I guess it works for the right audience. Book 9 in a series and it has decent ranking at Amazon: #1,850 Paid in Kindle Store
#1 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Literature & Fiction > Action & Adventure > Men’s Adventure
#12 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Literature & Fiction > Genre Fiction > War
#14 in Kindle Store > Kindle eBooks > Mystery, Thriller & Suspense > Thrillers > Military
The ‘picture obscured by the text’ seems to be a theme in the covers, but most in the series still look better than this. That font says more “SPECIAL OFFER BUY 2 PAY 1” Than “SILENT VENGEANCE.” All the more pity of the books are good. The description is at least readable and clear.

Off topic, I would use Silent Vengeance as a title for a vigilante librarian story, tagline: “Shhhhhh”.

Looking closely, the “cursor” is a case of broken outline, someone screwed up the curves of that lettering.
