“Can be compared to The Gods of Mars,” 5 stars

I cant tell if that is supposed to elevate this work, or denigrate the Barsoom series by Burroughs.
Anything can be compared to anything else, and found severely wanting.
Burroughs? Edgar Rice? William S. II? William S. Jr? William Seward I (are adding machines involved)?
I would describe this as “mediocre art,” but I fully agree about the type.
It’d be easier to tell, without the idiotic shield and horrible text all over it. Probably not awful–at least, not compared to what we usually see here.
Defining a new category – Blah Art.
But the real question has to be, “What the heck is a pic-novel?”
My soul is not up to facing the horrors this idea generates in my imagination.
“Great art”?
I really do think that, once you remove all the clunky type, the illustration is entirely professional.
What is a pic-novel?
Well, I went to take a look.
Holy crap.
Oh hell no. The writing and punctuation are worse than the art! Fastly? **shudders**
Eesh. It didn’t bode well starting with “U.K., United Kingdom…”
