I think this style is kind of intentional…? Reminds me a bit of paperback covers from the 60s or 70s.

That said, though, yeah–it’s not great.

I’m very sure this is intentional. Whether or not you like it is up to you but I don’t find it all that bad at all.

If it’s intentional, then it’s a bad cover of a different kind, as it’s not going to appeal to Hunger Games fans looking for their next read.

Doesn’t look that bad to me. Cover’s alright in spite of the book, if anything.
