At least Comic Sans is easier to read than that font they are actually using on road signs these days.

From the book description: “With a little diligence, you can be talking like a near-native in no time.”

Not sure I would take this person’s advice. With a title like “How to Improve English,” I would expect this to be some treatise on making the English language more accessible/understandable/consistent/etc. But no. No, this is a book that should be called “How to Improve YOUR English.”

Ha. You beat me to it! And what in hell is a near-native? Is there such a thing as a near-native? And a near-native to where? Ok, I’m giving myself a headache now…

There’s just no way you can be 658km from ‘Rom’, 1117km from Barcelona and 7422km from Delphi. So presumably ‘Delphi’ should be ‘Delhi’.

Or else the book should really be called ‘How To Improve Geography’.
