If the serial killers were driven mad by lousy book covers, maybe.

And pet peeve alert – People generally escape FROM places.

They journey or fly or drive or sail or walk or move TO places.

It looks like the paintings that were hanging in my childhood eye doctor’s office. (I always thought he was messing with his pateints, posting Impressionist-like things with blurred edges. We already couldn’t see very well or we wouldn’t have been there!)

Why is there a date (2001 04 19) in the lower right corner? Looks like the date that a camera would put on a photo. Is this a scan of a picture of a painting?

Stolen artwork. Another component of LBCs.

Perhaps the serial killer signed the painting with his (or her) prisoner ID number. (And a delightful painting it is, too, in case they have Internet access in his (or her) institution.)

“It’s a thriller about serial killers and FBI agents. But I’m sure you could already tell.”

HA! They must be on a poetry-writing retreat. Working out their collective inner angst.

At first glance I thought this was a poetry anthology, now I am disappointed. Nothing about this even whispers thriller.
