I get what the cover is meant to convey, but it took me far longer than I would ever spend looking through book covers to find one that peaks my interest. I agree with Waffles about the font though, it does look good.

This one would look great if the art were better. Aside from that, it’s much more competent than most things on this site.

Agreed ~ the drawing is horrid and ruins the overall effect, but the colors, font, and layout do work. I could do without the black bubbly bit at the bottom, though.

I think the point came out clearly, though perhaps the shadow’s point isn’t clear.
I see what the cover artist was trying to do, and for that I give an A for Effort.
The title actually has a nice font and looks good with the red!
A+ for that.
See Nathan – everybody else loves this cover.
You are such a bully!

Could someone please explain the point of the shadow to this dullard?
I think that it’s a superhero and his cape is flying up behind him.
Did NOT see that at all! *FAIL*
Why does the guy against the wall get a shadow (that doesn’t match his shape), but the guy about to punch him doesn’t have a shadow?
Because that shadow has superpowers.
