If that barn will stay fall-out free, it must be made of some truly fantastic wood.

And an invisible roof.

Looks like a Little People’s toy barn, considering how large the grass blades are. So I guess that this year the Toy Wars have gone nuclear.

On the positive side, there will be far more glow-in-dark toys available for Christmas.

There’s some kind of animal at the bottom of the mushroom part of the cloud, (which looks like it was tacked on to a smoke column by the way). It’s either a bird with a brown beak or a fuzzy dog with a brown snout.

Also, in response to EricL’s comment about the relative height of the grass vs barn, it might be that radiation has shrunk the humans and we’re tiny now.

Because there definitely aren’t any stock images of barns in fields.

I sure as heck wouldn’t hide in a barn, that’s for sure!

The miniature green combine harvester floating over the top of the wheat field is consistent with the miniature barn in grass — fakey and way non-proportional.

I grew up in the 1950s Atomic Age. I know from “The Incredible Shrinking Man” and “the Amazing Colossal Man” that while radiation makes people shrink/grow, non-organic stuff stays the same size. This cover is totally bogus. Can’t fool me.

My biggest complaint about a lot of free high-res photo sights (like Unsplash) is that they have all these beautiful, professional photos of everyday things, like barns and things (as opposed to weird horror stuff.)
