Drowned Murmurs

Oh, good. “Overtones.” They’re almost as good as penumbras.

Why is the reflection different from the tree?
It would have made more sense.

That’s part of the “overtones.”

It took me a second to realize the blob on the tree is the back of someone’s head.

I never would have seen that dude if you hadn’t mentioned him, L.

And those people in the water are creepy. They’d be even more creepy if they didn’t make me laugh.

I think it looks different because there’s dead people in the water.

My mama told me never to mix sky and earth colors. Blue on brown was certainly an overtone.

How is the sun casting a shadow on the stone building from behind it? And there is no way the grass could cast that reflection.

Oh, jeez – why bother? There is no way ANY of this debacle makes sense!

There. There. It’ll be okay. Go now. Find a bestselling book’s cover, professionally designed, and you’ll feel better in no time.

Wow! A lot of effort went into making this cover, but it is stunningly terrible. It’s like the Frankenstein’s monster of book covers.
