I know it’s supposed to be abstract but yee Gods is the perspective horrible on that. Where does the cliff/hillock or whatever it is he’s standing on end and the crowd begin?
Thanks for all the feedback. The tips and the humor are well received. There is an alternate cover which can be viewed at http://www.bohemianbook.com (new cover soon). Also, Kris, Kindle price goes down after September 10th (there is a mandatory waiting period they make you go through).
Much improved, Dewey. It comes across as a bit generic now, yet the colors are catching. They make you stop to investigate the image and then you decipher the concert venue (which is clearly a central aspect of the book). Glad to have the guy gone; he’s too Frankenstein’s monster meets tie-dye. He was hurting first-look credibility.
Shoulders man. Shoulders are hard.
Sockrider. Something tells me this is a self portrait.
I kind of like the way the crowd and the stadium are drawn, and the aurora borealis-esque sky. Just not so much the misshapen dude.
Teeny tiny head. Did the Bohemians shrink it?
Maybe his head, but not the price – it’s $11.99 on KINDLE! *yikes*
Impressionist concert poster. Looks like this guy’s seen too many metal bands and his head’s banged a few too many times.
Sockrider.
Wait for it…
Bwahahahahahaha!
Take out the weird dude. I don’t completely hate the rest.
I had trouble seeing it.
At first, I saw a guy standing before a field of flowers facing two dudes in square headgear holding a blue globe on the far side.
So, the Amazing Colossal Man grew some hair and celebrated by going to a concert in a tiedye shirt?
It did not sell me.
“So, like, I took both the pill that makes you larger AND the pill that makes you small and, like… duuuuuude ….”
“Far out”
It’s the The Thing That Only Eats Hippies!!
Listen to the Dead Milkmen!

Hope it goes well.
The dude has been removed from the new cover, but I can’t get John’s comment out of my head. 🙂
