Finally, a Smashwords entry! I kept expecting so many of the last several entries to be from Smashwords, and they kept being from Amazon instead. I guess Amazon really will publish just about anything.
Particularly curious about this cover: most of the rest of this author’s covers on Smashwords are better done and nothing like this one at all. Maybe this is some old shame from much earlier in her career she just hasn’t gotten around to replacing yet.
The fingers and toes look like twisty paper straws.

Putting the gravestone name right above the author’s makes it look like they were co-authors.
As for calling it the “Final Dive”, either 1) the cemetery is in the bad area of town or 2) the skeleton dude was a swimmer who does his last dive from the top of a headstone into an open grave.
I had assumed option 2 so much that I hadn’t even questioned it. It could be either I suppose.
Reading the description on Smashwords has told me two things.
One: It is the second one most likely.
Two: I wouldn’t read this on threat of death.
More importantly is this question I have now after reading the description. I need help!
If people are watching a diving competition, and one of the divers knees buckle and he falls off the board into the water…
In what universe would anyone jump to the conclusion that the diver must be haunted by ghosts. Why is that the first place anyone would go. Nerves? Nah! Blood flow problems due to locking the knees while stressed? Couldn’t be. Ghosts?! Oh yes!
Please help me figure that out LousyBookCoverers!!!

Awesome cover! Awesome for me because it made me laugh. Not so awesome for the book and it’s author.
