Do we need to be told the stories are upbeat? Plus do dolphins really jump all the way out of the water like that?
They do jump all the way out of the water. Some of them do loop-the-loops and other tricks. Dolphins are just big show-offs, really.

Even now, that dolphin is contemplating suicide. If only he had hands…and a gun…or at least a bottle of poison. Anything to get off this damn cover. Maybe that’s why he’s leaping like that. It’s an escape attempt.
