I’ve seen covers here that look like they were designed on an 8-bit Apple II or a first-generation IBM PC, but this is the first one I’ve seen that looks like it was designed on a typewriter.
Ha, were I single, I wouldn’t go to that place. For one, there’s not a car in the lot (not even a tricked out pickup with naked women on the mudflaps). For two, not a single domestic (or any) beer sign to be seen. What do they serve, milk? (Since it looks more like a general store, I think that’s a good guess.) Hell, there aren’t even any cigarette butts or oil stains on the pavement. What kind of country bar doesn’t have those?
No, this place doesn’t look good at all. Single (or living) women need not attend. Thank you.
All the interior lights are off. Looks more like a store that’s closed and the author drove by at night to take the picture. The sign on the roof was added later via some cheap image editing software. The text isn’t even centered on the white space that’s pretending to be a sign. A professional sign maker wouldn’t make that mistake!
This might work as the setting for a slasher movie.

LOL! Yeah, you’re right. It does look like it was designed on a typewriter. And the text isn’t even centered under the photo.
Its not even centered properly
I’ve made better layouts for company newsletters in Microsoft Publisher from 15 years ago.
Yeah, I recall wax paste-ups in the late 80s and results with more finesse than this cover. Yikes!
Singles night for zombies?
Cuz the place looks dead. Just to clarify.

We certainly wouldn’t! I wouldn’t use that font either for this sign. A little interest or a logo wouldn’t hurt either!
Plus, the white cover will bleed into the Amazon page when the cover is posted. Sooooo well thought out and executed… NOT!
