Not bad … this would be an excellent first draft, but not a good finished cover. Assuming everything is in layers, move the T-Rex to the left a little bit. Move the kids apart a bit and to the right. Use a photoshop filter to make the dinosaur a little more cartoony, if possible, and maybe the background too, so it looks like one art style.
My big GRIPE is with the type. Without redesiging all the type, the least one could do is add a return and put “Time Machine” on the same line. Same with the subtitle. Get it all on a single line, or add the return before “Land of the …”
Please don’t tell me he’s using a cartoonized version of the time machine from the movie.
right? Because a time machine couldn’t possibly look like anything but this quaint victorian design. Ugh…
