Now I’m hungry for cheese… moon cheese… alien moon cheese.

Title’s a too-obvious ripoff of a Star Trek epi. Boo. Hiss. I like the lit up skyline but the alien in the moon and curved title have to go. Oy.

What a marvelously poetic title. And what a totally shit cover.

Not as poetic as “For the World is Hollow and I have Touched the Sky,” which is where they got the title (as per Sorina)

Ah! I wasn’t aware of that. Thanks for the heads up — both to you and Sirona.

Get rid of the curved text, the moon and the alien face, and use a higher resolution pic of the Brooklyn Bridge at night and don’t try to cut out the background so you can have an empty black space behind it. The real night sky is not an empty black space.

In fact, just start over again.

Cheesy or not, I like the cool alien moon. It sure caught my attention and makes it unique. Okay, it doesn’t look quite right, but I’ll take it. But all the pieces aren’t working together here, and something needs to go. I wouldn’t mind having this cover on my Kindle if the text was simply redone…

I’d like the moon if it wasn’t so huge. It needs a dose of subtlety so your eye sees the moon and is drawn to look closer and see the alien face. Its so dominant now it screams >>> Look at me! Look at my moon with a face!

Well, not much about this cover screams (or whispers) subtlety…

Once again, the worst kind of cover: the one that comes THIS close to really working.
