Sword Striker

I can see the sword, so I’ll assume all the rest of that is the striker.

It’s an anvil, hammer, and scabbard with what looks like a belt twined around things. The illustration is pretty cool in a lot of ways. I think if it wasn’t monochromatic it would be more recognizable. For instance, make the scabbard brown, the anvil nearly black, keep the sword gray, that kind of thing; this could be a great impressionist rendering of the sword and the smith’s tools. Pity she threw in all those borders and all that (gasp) baby blue (not at all epic) and that font in all caps is nearly unreadable (isn’t much better upper/lower).

Yes, indeed, what should be a POWERful image with an impression of striking and hammering and beating something out of metal looks like a baby shower invitation.

LOL: “looks like a baby shower invitation.”

The anvil looks like an upside-down shoe, the scabbard (which I never would have recognized without your help) is too big for the sword and looks like a hip boot because the end of the belt looks like it’s attached and is the toe of the boot, the hammer is a two-handed sledgehammer rather than a blacksmith’s hammer, the belt attached to the scabbard I also wouldn’t have recognized without help because it looks like a stylized ribbon, and yeah: baby-fricking-blue.

Aside from that, it’s great!
